Estatatura: our reserve wine

The estate takes its name from a nearby Etruscan site.

The eagle shown on the label recalls the rites of the ancient Etruscan Augures which interpreted the flight of birds and the eagle was considered an emblem of prosperity and divine favors.

It was such a powerful symbol that it was placed at the end of the scepter of kings.

Estatatura was the name given to the summer migration of public offices from the city of Grosseto to the hills of Scansano seeking “fresh air”.
